WHAT PROTECTIONS OR ADAPTATIONS DO PLANTS IN THE WETLANDS HAVE?

  • Cattails have there seeds at the top because they can not grow under water.
  • Bladderworts trap bugs in there bladder and eats it.

  • Beavers have buck teeth to chew through wood.
  • Eagles have talons to grip there prey in
  • Deers have antlers to protect them selves.

WHAT MAKES YOUR HABITAT SPECIAL?

  • Wetlands are special because they hold lots of water and can prevent floods.
  • Lilly pads and reeds can only grow there
  • Wetlands clean our water!
