• British put taxes on sugar which caused the boston tea party. Without this event the Boston Tea Party would have never happened.

Dec 1 1774 Colonial boycott of British Goods

• Without this event the war may have never happened

Apr 19 1775 Battles of Lexington and Concord

• First battles of the Revolutionary War. Without this event the war may not have happened at all

Apr 19 1775 American Revolution

• Start of the American Revolution. Without the American Revolution we would probably still be under British rule.

• The turning point of the war. Without this event we may have lost the war.

Aug 19 1781 Battle of Yorktown

• battle of the Revolutionary War. Without this event I believe that the war would have never ended

• Formally ended the revolutionary war. Without this event the war would have ended later.
