PRESENTATION OUTLINE
How Chipmunks Survive in the Winter
Chipmunks use logs, trees, rocks and existing hole as places to live during winter.
Chipmunks store nuts and seeds to eat in the winter.
Chipmunks hibernate, but not all the way through the season. They come out of hibernation once every few days, they eat food and raise there body temperature.
Some of Chipmunks adaptations are that they can store food in their cheek pouches and their fur color helps them stay camouflaged.
