We need to measure 21 Century Skills

"through a range of assessment practices, gather information that is sufficiently comprehensive to enable the progress and achievement of students to
be evaluated"
National Administration Guideline 1

"Overemphasizing test scores as measures of achievement is potentially harmful to education. The contributors identify key traits such as mindset, motivation, social skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit that students, teachers, and schools need to acknowledge and cultivate. Educators are asked to shift the evaluation paradigm to focus on a multiplicity of skills necessary for success in the 21st century"
Yong Zhao

Who decides which skills?

"Acquiring information about students' understanding of 21st century competencies can make educators and students more intentional about improving the competencies...." - Stecher and Hamilton

Do we @ TML assess 21st C skill development?

Or student writing ability?
