What is a LandFill?

Basically , a landfill is a bathtub in the ground .

What is the composition of a landfill?

  • The natural setting can be selected to minimize the possibility of wastes .
  • The other component's must be engineered .
  • Each component or element of a landfill is critical for success .
  • Many different shape's and sizes can end up all together.
  • Unlike bathtubs all landfills eventually will leak , out the bottom or top.

The Natural setting's

You want the geology to do two contradictory thing's for you.

What is a bottom liner?

There are three different type's of liner : clay , plastic & composite. 

Clay liner's

  • Clay can be made of a synthetic flexible membrane.
  • Natural clay is often fractured and cracked .
