What is the ACT?

  • American College Test
  • 4 sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, Science and optional Writing portion
  • Test scored out of a possible 36 points

When is the ACT?

  • Exam will be offered to Alliance wide students on a Tuesday, September 27 to all juniors

Format of the Day

  • All Juniors are testing
  • Test will take around 4 hours
  • Special schedule

Why are we taking it?

  • To get into college!
  • Exam is designed to measure your college readiness in each section
