Carbon footprint - the amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuels by a particular person, group, etc.

With activities caused by humans, the concentration to carbon footprints. The Industrial Revolution has been risen extremely high in the last 3 million years. This is because the natural sinks removing the same amount as carbon footprints from the atmosphere than what is produced by natural resources. This is what has kept carbon footprints leveled at a safe range.

Since Industrial Revolution, people have been increasing in carbon footprints. Activities we do daily such as burning oil, coal and gas are the cause of the high amount of carbon footprint in the atmosphere. 87% of all human-incorporated items come from the burning of fossil fuels. 9% are clearing forests and other land uses. 4% are modified for industrial purposes.
