PEOPLE LOOK DOWN ON YOU.
People believe that being homeless is all your fault.
Many believe that you aren't strong enough to take care of yourself.
People believe that you are like every homeless stereotype.

4.
HARD TO GET HEALTHY FOOD
You can get food using food stamps, but you really have no where to cook it.
Hard to find food that doesn't have to be cooked and is nutritious.
When you have a medical problem (diabetes, high blood pressure) it makes food harder to find.
Many will think you as a stereotype.
5.
AREN'T GUARANTEED A PLACE TO SLEEP
You could go to a shelter, but there is limited place.
The street is usually a second option for many.
Some people are willing to beg strangers to stay the night.
You never know if you will sleeping on the sidewalk or a shelter.

MANY PEOPLE IGNORE YOU
Some believe that the homeless don't deserve what they get.
People have a thought that the homeless are lazy.
Many think you don't work hard enough.
You are a only a beggar to some people.
7.
FEAR OF ATTACK
You have to stay away from conspicuous places.
Fear of being attacked, abused, robbed, or moved on.
May be subjected to police harassment-unfairly searched or arrested.
8.
NO FAMILY TO TURN TO
Families have a high tendency of breaking apart.
Many times children are left to help themselves
When you have a bad day, you can only be there for yourself.
9.
YOU BEGIN TO BECOME UNCERTAIN
You don't know when you will be able to get back on your feet.
You never know if you will have a place to stay or not.
Many homeless people are not sure when they will leave the shelters.
10.
HEALTH BECOMES DAMAGED
Lack of hygiene properties.
Any health problems (high cholesterol, diabetes) make it hard to find food to eat.
Many homeless people begin to drink or do drugs.
Many people become depressed or have anxiety.
11.
IT IS HARD TO PICK YOURSELF BACK UP
It is easier to fall down than to stand up through the hard times.
Being homeless is a traumatic experience and many begin to feel worthless.
You must look presentable if looking for a job, but old clothes won't make the cut.
