Hope for the homeless

Also by; Brittney Newman and Day'Ja Love

What is this project?

  • For the entire month of June we will be collecting items to give to the homeless shelter of South Bend, some items included are Hand Sanitizer, Baby wipes, Deodorant for men and women, Toothbrushes for kids and adults, Toothpaste for kids and adults, Hair brushes, Combs, Chapsticks for men and women, First aid kits, Mints, Gum, Small hand lotion, Pens, Pencils, Pencil sharpeners, Paper, Cough drops, and Socks for men, women, and babies. Each of these items will be collected to make care packages for new people that come into the homeless center each day and also the hope ministries. We will be giving the bags to the homeless center, then given the chance to meet whom we helped and also take a tour of the facility. Hope ministries has asked us to hand out the bags personally to the homeless and interact with them during the meal they supply them each day.
