Conclusion: the data shows that the 1980's actually had the highest crime and, instead, the 1970's had the 4th highest crime.

Reasons:

• In the 1960's and 1970's most women were to afraid to report crimes
• In the 1980's there were nuclear threats, international wars, baby boom, and economic instability

the community: This data shows that crime is up when there is civil unrest and economic instability. Also, when there is a lack of law enforcement

World wide highest amount of crime in 2000's:
1) United States
2) United Kingdom
3) Germany
4) France
5) Russia

Reasons

• Bigger population
• Pro-gun
• Freedom of speech and pursuit of happiness

Conclusion: Even in the 2000's, which was only our 3rd highest from the 1960's- 2010's the U.S. was still the country with the highest crime
