Conclusion: the data shows that the 1980's actually had the highest crime and, instead, the 1970's had the 4th highest crime.

Reasons:

  • In the 1960's and 1970's most women were to afraid to report crimes
  • In the 1980's there were nuclear threats, international wars, baby boom, and economic instability

1) United States
2) United Kingdom

Conclusion: Even in the 2000's, which was only our 3rd highest from the 1960's- 2010's the U.S. was still the country with the highest crime
