The On-Campus Interviewing Program

The On-Campus Interviewing program provides a simple way for students to interview for career-related positions with employers from the DC Metro, including those cross country, for full-time, part-time and internship positions right in SUB I.

Employers visiting campus have targeted Mason as a top institution for their hiring needs and travel to campus to make interviewing convenient and accessible to our students.

All Mason degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate students and alumni are eligible to participate in the On-Campus Interviewing Program. However, screening criteria, including major, GPA and work authorization, for individual positions are set by the employer.

Using HireMason shortcuts

Let me highlight that your HireMason homepage has everything you need right there.

These links make finding, scheduling and confirming your positions and interviews easy.

The first step to the On-Campus Interviewing Program is completing the Student Orientation using the link here.

Today's participants get this requirement waived due to your attendance, so be sure to sign in before you leave if you haven't already to get the credit.

"Campus Interviews I qualify For"

The "Campus Interviews I Qualify For" will show you all of the OCI Positions you are eligible to apply for.

It's important to keep your HM profile up to date as that information will determine what you can and cannot apply for.

OCI positions are in bold black and start with OCI:. The positions in Green are registration links for our Practice Interview Days with employers in various industries. The first PID is February 3rd and it's a great way to brush up on your skills before your big interviews.

Once you found the job of your choice, select the job to move to the next step.

View Job Description & Apply

After find the job you're interested in be sure to thoroughly review the job description to determine if the job is a good fit for you.

Also make note of the days and times highlighted near the job description.

If and only if, you are interested in the job, you can then click Apply.

By submitting your resume and CV, you are agreeing to interview with the employer should an interview be offered to you.

If you cancel and/or don't show up to an interview, you will subject to having your HM account blocked. Only after you have met with your Industry Advisor, written an apology letter and emailed me, will your account be unblocked. After the second offense, you are removed from the OCI program and HireMason in general.
