PRESENTATION OUTLINE
I am from screen doors and chicken coups
From Nintendo’s and DVD players
I am from the dusted shelves and two fridges
Bright, white
I am from the rose bush outside
The moss near trees
Trees reaching their arms towards the sky
I’m from the homemade noodles
And too many opinions
I’m from the stubborn eyebrows
And loud laughter
From say thank you
And don’t touch that!
I’m from Christianity,
You don’t always have to believe what the preacher says.
I’m from Ireland, England, USA
Meat and Cheese.
From the time I tried to catch the dust in sunbeams but I couldn’t
The times me and my brother would walk together on the walking trail.
Pictures high up in my parents closet
I am from the creek outside our house that stretches towards the cobwebbed sky; changing into different colors each day.
