Have you ever wanted to play with someone but no one was there to play with you?

I believe having a dad is important because he keeps you safe and play's with you when you're lonely.

The most important reason I believe having a dad is important is because he plays with you when you're lonely.

FOR EXAMPLE,

• One day I wanted to play with someone so I knocked on Matthew's door he went to tae kwon do.I knocked on Luke's door he went swimming. After that,I knocked on Jimmy's door he was at ASA so I had no one to play with I was sad until my dad came home and had a nerf gun war with me. Now I realise,having a dad is so important

Some other reasons having a dad is important:

Having a dad is important because he never leaves you when you're sick.
Having a dad is important when bigger boys are bullying you.
Having a dad is important when you're lonely.

Another reason I believe having a dad is important is because he keeps you safe

FOR Example,

• One day I was playing soccer with my friends and my dad was in the bathroom. Some bigger boys came and said we need to play somewhere else so they could play a match but I refused to play somewhere so the bigger boys started bullying me and my friends. My dad came out of the bathroom and saw this so when my dad went to them he taught those guys a lesson.
• Now I realise you always need to have your dad to keep you safe.

I surveyed my classmates to see if they felt safe with their dad.
20/23 classmates felt safe with their dad.

I want people to appreciate their dad by making him a special card or doing something nice for him.

Now I realise having a dad is important because he keeps you safe and plays with you when you're lonely. So go appreciate your dad for all the hard work he has done for you.
