Proclamation act 1763

• Forbid the colonies from settling along the Appalachian Mtns 
• It was to stabilize a proper relationship with Native Americans
• Was created to keep colonies from causing wars with Natives 

STAMP ACT 1765

• Imposed taxes on stamps
• Needed for official documents

Quartering Act 1765
Required colonists to provide food and shelter for British troops

Townshend Act 1767
taxed glass, lead, paint,paper and tea

Tea Act 1773
allowed a monopoly of tea sales to East India Company which forced American colonists to buy tea from East India Company
