BENEFITS OF SLEEP

  • Having a goodnights sleep can improve your memory.
  • When you sleep your brain absorbs all of the information you leaned that day.

Sleep will help you spur creativity-your brain appears to reorganize and restructure the creativity witch may result as a more artistic personality

Without sleep.....
Headaches-scientists don't exactly know why sleep deprivation leads to headaches but doctors have noticed for more than 10 years migraines can be triggered by sleepless nights 36 to 58% of people with sleep apnea wake up with morning headaches

WITHOUT SLEEP.....

Without enough sleep.....
It is easier to catch colds when a group of 153 people were exposed to a common cold, those who had gotten less than 7 hours of sleep in the 2 weeks prior were almost 3x more likely to get sick than those who had 8 more hours of sleep

Sleep Cycles:
Are prompted by natural cycles of activity in the brain and consist of two basic stages: rapid eye movement (REM) and a deep sleep stage

Your internal 24 hour sleep cycle is regulated by a process in the brain that responded to how long you have been awake, and the changes between light and dark. At night your body responds to the loss of day light by producing a megaton hormone of day light that makes you sleepy day light triggers the brain to inhabit megaton production so you feel awake

If you enjoy a full nights sleep, getting out of the bed can be difficult because you were probably in stage 3 of sleep deep sleep. If you want to make mornings less stressful, or if you know you only have a limited time of sleep set a wake up time a multiple of 90 minutes
