WHY DO WE HAVE

THE ORBIT

THE ORBIT LOOKS LIKE THIS.

AM I RIGHT, OR AM I RIGHT?

NEITHER

IT IS NOT AN OVAL

MORE LIKE THIS

The Earth's orbit is actually not a perfect circle. It is 1.63% away from being perfect. Please don't use this against me, becouse the Earth is actually closest to the sun on January 4.

IF IS NOT THE SHAPE OF THE ORBIT

WHAT IS IT?

In part one I said that that the Earth's North Pole always points towards Polaris. It dose, because Polaris never moves.

SOME KOOL THINGS

  • During the night we tend to see that the other stars go around Polaris.
  • At the equator the sun light is most direct in the spring and fall.
