WHENEVER THINGS DON'T GO OUR WAY, WE REACT IN A BAD WAY.

Whenever something doesn't go our way, our first instinct is to become angry and upset. We have an evil instinct to overreact and have a bad attitude. It's our instinct to become evil because it's our human nature. Since Adam and Eve brought sin into the world, our instinct is now sinful and evil.

ROGER

In the "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, Roger demonstrates that he has a first instinct of evil. His first instinct is to kill and hunt down humans to get them out of his way. Roger killed Piggy and tortured Sam and Eric because it was his first instinct to kill to get them out of his way.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE

Proven psychologically, Roger's first instinct was to become evil because he wanted to attain joy in hurting others, which also proves that he is a sadist. He attained joy in hurting Sam and Eric, and killing Piggy.

FORGIVE AND FORGET

People want to get back at someone who has done no wrong to them, but they believe that they really did do something wrong that hurt them. People need to focus on the more important things in life, and not worry about the other things that aren't important. All people should forgive and forget the things in the past that bothered them so much.
