Why is there a water crisis?

In the Twentieth Century the population tripled

and our use of water grew x6

The population is expected to reach 22 billion by 2020

The average Canadian uses 160 gallons of water everyday

Meanwhile millions of people survive with less then 3 gallons per day

We will likely run out of water before we run out of oil...

due to over-pumping the reservoirs

The ground water in many countries is almost gone

Although water covers 71% of the Earth...

Of that 71% only 2.5% is Drinkable

but only 1% of it is readily available for drinking

There are many factors contributing to the water crisis such as...

The rapid urbanizing of countries wipe out lakes and rivers. Also...

without water, food and livestock will die.

We need to look after this problem for the next generation

Water is wealth it's time to save
