Whales are the largest living thing in the ocean but thousands of years ago, dinosaurs were bigger!

Whales may be the largest current living thing but there are much bigger non-living things under water.

For example,
The mid Atlantic ridge is located in the Atlantic Ocean and is much bigger than the Blue Whale.
There is also an under water mountain off the coast of Hawaii named Mouna Kea which is bigger than Mt Everest!
