WHY MEN & WOMEN TODAY GO TO THE MILITARY?

Men and women today go to the military because it helps with education/money benefits, careers and jobs, and give people will power to protect their country.

EDUCATION/MONEY BENEFITS:
♦️Army scholarships award students for academic excellence and allow them to focus on earning their college degree rather than worry about paying for it.
♦️In his interview, Stephen said that he turned down 2 chances to come early, because he was doing what he liked so much which was being enlisted in the Air Force Reserves to earn my for college. (Baxter)
♦️There are so many different educational benefit programs that the military service offers to a tremendous sequence of education benefits that can be used while on active duty or after leaving the service. (Money for School: Education Benefits)

Will Power to Protect:
🔷In a video interview with Brock, an Army National Guard, says that he was motivated by a strong sense of responsibility to confront injustice and bring about change in the world.(McIntash)
🔷In a video interview with Stephen M. Collins, who used to be a Marine Corps says, "Whatever my country would ask me to do, I would do it, just to a moral obligation I had to my country, to the Marines, and just to the guys in my unit."
🔷In another video interview with Paul Franklin Mercer, who reflected on his injuries before his time on the service and status as a veteran says, "I'm still very glad that I had the opportunity to raise my right hand to go and to serve in uniform.

Careers & Jobs:
♦️No matter what career a person may choose, the experience that a person receives in the U.S Army, like training and certification that's beyond what a person would get in the civilian world .
♦️In the military, a person can take advantage of a long list of job and leadership-training opportunities giving a person the skills to succeed in the Army and in life.
♦️In the military, a person would handle more responsibility, be better qualified, and more desirable because of their military background. Also making a person the perfect candidate for any management role.
