Why Montezuma is Guilty

Reasons

• sacrificing and killing people can't be good for a society
• People hated the sacrificing and later joined the Spaniards to fight aztecs
• The horror of human sacrifice highly motivated the Spaniards to conquer
• Montezuma tried to bribe Cortes, showing his wealth and weakness 
• Montezuma switched to Christianity and swore allegiance to  the Spains King

I hope you agree that if Montezuma didn't try to sacrifice people, bribe Cortes, or give up, they most likely would have won the war.
