THE BEST WAY TO FEED OUR Country

BUY LOCAL TO KEEP MONEY LOCAL

  • Only 18 cents of every dollar spent on industrial
  • food goes to the farmer. The other 88 cents go
  • to unnecessary middlemen.
  • Buying locally cuts out the middleman and gives
  • the farmer the entire amount they deserve.

LOCAL FARMS ARE WASTELESS

  • There are no pesticides, no artificial
  • fertilizer, no pollution, and no extra waste.
  • All the energy used comes from the sun
  • and everything is recycled.

The Other Side

  • Some may say that the industrial food chain
  • is the cheapest way to mass produce food.
  • However, the cost to the environment greatly
  • outweighs the cheaper price. Local farms have
  • almost no waste and are mostly self-sustainable
