QUOTES

"The compact which exists between the North and the South is a covenant with death and an agreement with hell."

QUOTES

"Enslave the liberty of but one human being and the liberties of the world are out in peril."

Connection to Frederick Douglass

Douglass used to be an avid follower of Garrison. But this came to an end when a rift arose between them. It started over whether or not the Constitution was pro slavery or not, and since then they're relationship never recovered.
