EARLY LIFE
- William Pitt was born on November 15,1708.
- He was born in Golden Square Westminster.

MILITARY CAREER
- William's military career was very short,lasting only 4 years.
- He had to choose a profession, so instead of going into the church,
- He chose the military.
PERSONAL LIFE
- In 1754, Pitt married Hester Grenville.
- The couple had 5 children.
- William Pitt the Younger being the second son.

EARLY POLITICAL CAREER
- In 1746, King George II elected Pitt as postmaster general.
- This got Pitt well known in the politics.

EARLY AMERICAN STRUGGLES
- America was struggling since England imposed the Stamp Act.
- Many Americans were riled up,mad at the proposition.
WHAT PITT DONE ABOUT IT!
- Pitt noticed the problem and disagreed with it strongly.
- He decided to write a letter about why he didnt think highly about the act.
- That made a highly respected man in colonial America.
DEATH
- Pitt passed away on April 7, 1778 while making a motion.
- He was in the House of the Lords Chamber.
