HOW IT WORKS
The sun heats up the land.
The land absorbs some of this heat.
The hot air moves up quickly, making wind, move quickly to fill the space.
The wind pushes the rotor blade, transferring energy to it.
The rotor blade moves and the energy is converted using a generator.
3.
PROS
Wind Energy doesn't cause pollution.
Wind energy is 100% renewable.
Operation costs for wind power are low.
Wind power potential is enormous
Wind Turbines are very space efficient.
