PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
WIND ENERGY
ELECTRICAL ENERGY OBTAINED FROM HARNESSING THE WIND WITH WINdMILLS.
2.
HOW IT WORKS
Wind blows toward the the rotor blades.
The rotor spins around slowly getting some of the wind.
Rotor blades swivel on top and the front of the hub for the best angle of the wind.
Inside the nacelle the gearbox converts lowspeed rotation into highspeed rotation.
The generator immediately take the kinetic energy From The Spinning drive and turns it into electrical energy.

POSITIVE EFFECTS
Free fuel
Doesn't take much space
Killer blades
Many shapes and sizes

5.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS
Wind turbines are noisy
Aren't very pleasing to look at
The strength is not always constant and,
Varies from zero to storm force.
