The artic wolf is able to survive in sub-zero temperatures for up to five months of a year, and weeks without food.

In the fall and winter artic wolf remains on the move.After mating in March, the females leave the pack to find a den to have the pups.The pups are born helpless conpletly dependant on their mother.

They will kill any animal they can get their hands on.They also use every part of the animal when they kill it.

Artic wolves hunt together in packs especially against larger animals.

The average height of the shoulder of the artic wolf is 25-31 inches.
