The Wolf Spider is a unique arachnid that's sports 8 eyes, and a small body of around an inch. This spider welcomes you into nightmares with open arms!

The Habitat:
Wolf Spiders live everywhere, in all kinds of biomes and climates. But they're most common in grasslands and meadows. They seek homes with lots of insects for prey.

How They Hunt/Webs?
If Spider-Man was like a wolf-spider, he would brutally tear his enemies apart. These arachnids are unique because they don't use webs to capture their enemies. Instead, they go straight for the kill!

The Diet:
Wolf Spiders feed on ground insects and other spiders! They also consume a variety of vertebrae, as if these guys weren't scary enough

THE BITE!
Wolf Spiders only go insane when provoked. Their bite is surprising tame, and only exerts minimal redness.

3 INTERESTING FACTS!!!

  • There are 3,000 sub-sub species of Wolf Spiders!
  • They're fantastic runners!
  • They are among the most abundant arthropods!
