PROBLEM AND GOAL

KEY EPISODES OR EVENTS

In 1848, a group of abolitionist activists- mostly women. They were a group of women that gathered together to talk about women's rights. The group was called national women's suffrage Association.

In 1910, Some states in the west began to extend the vote to women for the first time in 20 years.

In 1916, the (nwsa) president Carrie chapman Catt presented what she called a ''winning plan'' to get the vote at last.

Resolution

In 1920, Women finally got equal rights on 26 the 19th amendment was signed.

What does this mean to me?

Now all women have the equal rights as men.
