GRACE DIEU
Grace dieu was a ship
It was built between 1416 and 1418 (River Hamble)
it was built for King Henry V
She sailed on only one voyage,
in 1439 she was struck by a bolt of lightning and burnt.

it was built about 1900
it was water tower which could hold 6000 gallons of water
The original clock struck ship's time (Eight Bells) on a large bell
The tower was purchased at auction in 1938
it is now part of Clock Tower Garage

Warsash history dates back to the bronze age (800BC)
Warsash was a number of separate hamlets
It was a dockyard during the 100 years war
In 1807 , a shipyard was built there
It was a launch site during D Day
