SUMMARY
Woods Runner takes place in 1776 during the Revolutionary War. Woods Runner is about a 13 year old boy named Samuel Smith. Samuel lives in a cabin in the woods in Pennsylvania with his parents. One day,
the British come through and burned his house down. His parents survived and where taken as captives. So Samuel goes out to find them.

THE CHANGE
In Woods Runner, Samuel goes through a change.
Because of the Revolutionary War, Samuel goes from living with his parents, to having no family or home at all.

OUR CHANGE
If it wasn't for the Revolutionary War. The whole U.S. would be dramatically changed. Because we would still be controlled by the United Kingdom.

HOW WE KNOW
People during war times wrote a lot of thing that were happening, especially people who were in the war. They probably kept a journal.
That's how we know what happened.

MY CHANGE
Woods Runner made me change. It taught me that I shouldn't take things for granted because they could go away in a second.
