Someone who is a regular customer or viewer of a store, restaurant, or theater.

The patrons of the restaurant enjoyed eating their meals at the outdoor tables.

Would you be a patron at any of the following places?

A movie theater

PRESTIGIOUS

Something that is admired and respected; having high status.

Graduating from college is a prestigious thing to do.

Is it prestigious to be the best student in the school?


Would it be prestigious to have a festering wound?

SMIRK
