  • You have to speak effectively to your audience (whether it's a coworker, boss, or group of customers).
  • Conversation works both ways. You have to listen just as well as you speak.
  • It's not always face to face. Your writing has to be as clear and effective as your verbal communication

ATTENDANCE

  • Your customers, coworkers, and bosses don't want to suffer for you not being there.
  • You don't get paid for not working.
  • Absences show you don't care about your job and are very unprofessional.

ORGANIZATION

  • A clean work area shows you care about your job and where you work.
  • Taking notes helps organize your work space and your thoughts.
  • Writing things out help create an outline for any project and helps with forgetfulness.
