WORKS PROGRESS ADMINISTRATION (WPA)

ESTABLISHED ON

The WPA was made to employ millions of unemployed people and gave them jobs to carry out public projects like construction of buildings and roads.

The WPA affects the lives of people with out jobs.

SUCCESS
When the WPA started America had an unemployment rate of 20% but when the administration closed America had a unemployment rate of under 2%

The WPA closed on June 30, 1943
