WPA was Establishment was on April 8, 1935

Purpose of WPA
This act employed milllions of people who
were jobless and gave them work such as building roads,and buildings.

AFFECTS/BENEFITS

• It benefited most people because it gave them jobs and helped financially with families.
• Slowly ended because of lack of funding.
• Unemployment ended with War Production.
• Employment spread over the country.

SUCCESSFULL/UNSUCCESSFUL

• Successful once it was first launched
• Gave jobs to unemployed people very successful
• Workers got killed by sandstorms and dusts and tornadoes
• The wars got in the way of WPA
