Latin American Independence
Haitian Revolution
In the Haitian Revolution, the slaves of a French Colony decided to revolt. This revolt occured at the French colony of Saint-Domingue, which is now modern day Haiti. The revolution went on from April 21, 1791 to January 1, 1804. This happened because the slaves had enough of the oppression from the French. This was significant because it formed the nation of Haiti we know today. This mostly relates to Imperialism and colonization, as Saint-Domingue was a colony in the Caribbean that was occupied by the French.

Industrialization in Britian
The Industrialization of Britian It happened in the nation of Great Britian. The Industrialization of Britain and the Industrial Revolution all began in Britian on around 1760 to 1820 and 1840. Inventors manufactured new devices and put them to work in factories, eventually this led to the industrialization of Great Britian. It was the time where many inventions were made and changed life as we know it. This particular event links to the Meiji Restoration, as it was the modernization of Japan.

"Monroe Doctrine"
President James Monroe declared the Monroe Doctrine. This was mainly in the United States of America. The Monroe Doctrine was declared on 1823. The Monroe Doctrine was a US foreign policy that stated that if any European powers tried to colony any part of North America, The USA will act with aggression. This was a significant event because if the Monroe Doctrine wasn't created, the rest of the USA, specifically the west coast, wouldn't exist. This connects with the Haitian Revolution in the timeline, since they are both related to Imperialism and colonization.

Seven Weeks' War
A war against the German Confederation and the Kingdom of Prussia occured. It mostly happened around Eastern Europe in Germany, Italy, and Bohemia. The war went on from June 14 to August 23, during the year 1866. Bismarck attacked Holstien in 1866, inciting the war with Austria. Eventually, everyone who was allies with Germany and Prussia begun fighting one another. This was significant because it expelled Austria from German and it dissolved the German Federation. It connects to the Haitian Revolution, as it was a war.
