• Hitler was an intelligence officer for DAP (German Workers' Party
• He officially joined DAP, and it was renamed as NSDAP, but later referred to as the Nazis
• Hitler was promoted to chancellor in 1932
• He created the Enabling Act which gave his own cabinet full legislative power for four years

Science & Technology

• Many deadly weapons were created, along with harmless inventions
• Deadly chemical agents such as Cyclosarin, Sarin, Soman, and Tabun were all similar nerve agents used as weapons by the Nazis
• Acoustic torpedo, anti-ship missile, V-1 flying bomb, and the V-2 rocket
• D-IX was a methamphetamine-based performance enhancer for soldiers

Role of Individuals

• Four roles: Victims, Perpetrators, Bystanders, and Rescuers
• Victims were typically Jews, Gypsies, Poles, Slavs, and people with mental or physical disabilities
• Perpetrators sought out of the wants and needs of the Nazi party
• Rescuers were the smallest group, but helped members of the persecuted groups
• Rescuers hid Jews in their homes for years to help them escape

Economics and History

• Money became a overabundant source
• So much was printed for demand, Germany became in debt
• Currency became worthless overtime, as simple food stocks such as bread costed millions
• The market crashed very quickly in very few years
