World Hunger Over Time (cont.)

as hunger tries to defeat our world, it creates many other problems as well.

hunger effects:

  • learning abilities
  • lower physical and psychological well-being
  • higher chance of behavioral issues
  • poorer health and nutrition
  • the generations to come

Hunger hasn't just shown up. The world has had its fair share of famines, some worse than others but all deadly.

Worst famines in history

  • The Great Chinese Famine (China, 1958, 43 mil deaths)
  • Chinese Famine of 1907 (China, 1907, 25 mil deaths)
  • Chalisa Famine (India, 1786, 11 mil deaths)
  • Soviet Famine of 1932-33 (USSR, 1932-33, 10 mil deaths)
  • Bengal Famine of 1970 (Bengal, 1970, 10 mil deaths)

there is a need. a real, live need for food to reach those who are without adequate nutrients.

what you do, is up to you.
