FACTS ON WORLD HUNGER

• Most of the world’s hungry live in developing countries like China, Japan, and Indonesia .
• 40,000 children under the age of five die every day from hunger and preventable diseases.
• That's 24 children a minute; equal to three atomic bombs crashing every hour.
• 70% of childhood deaths come from malnutrition and preventable disease.
• 70% of families in Asia live in extreme poverty.

THE HUNGER PROJECT (THP)

• THP is a global, non-profit, strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger.
• THP seeks to end hunger and poverty by empowering people to lead lives of self-reliance.
• THP and its affiliated Partner Countries have a worldwide staff of more than 300 people.
• THP's Global Office is located in New York, NY.

Our goal
Our goal is to have a bake sale twice a month to raise money to send food to Asia, and we will make a commercial to raise attention to the sale.

OUR PROCESS

• We will have a bake sale
• We'll get in contact with THP (phone #:+1-212-251-9100)
• We will send the money to them
• They will get the food and send it to the people in Asia
• Repeat
