• world war was a global war that lasted from 28 July 1914 to 11 November 1918 It has contributed to the mobilization of more than 70 millions miltary personnel,including 60 millions Europeons and is known as the great war or the "war to end all wars"

East african campaign

• In World War I, the East African campaign was a series of battles and guerrilla actions that began in German East Africa (GEA) and spread to parts of Portuguese Mozambique, Northern Rhodesia, British East Africa, the Protectorate of Uganda, and the Congo of Belgium. The war ended in November 1917 in German East Africa when the Germans reached Portuguese Mozambique and proceeded with the campaigh living off portuguese supplies

Asia and Pacific

• Different naval wars and the Allied capture of German colonial possessions in the Pacific Ocean and China were part of the Asian and Pacific Theatre of World War I. The Cautious and Well-Executed Siege of Tsingtao in China was the most effective military operation, but smaller actions were also fought at Bita Paka and Toma in German New Guinea.
