World war 2 helped contributed to the end of the Great Depression. The US was at one of its most prosperous points in time. There was lots entertainment, music, acting and much more. Bands such as the Andrews sisters and comedians like Bob hope were crucial to the happiness of the troops.

There were many great inventions during world war 2. Inventions such as penicillin and nuclear power which would soon revolutionize the world. Also there were other inventions such as the jet engine and GPS were also very big inventions during that time. It was a truly amazing time to be in.
