Wash your hands, then (if you own any) wear disposable gloves
Wash wounds with soap and water. If the wound is still dirty, find medical attention.
Place a clean and wet cloth sheet on the wound, then add pressure to it.
When it stops bleeding, remove the cloth, then apply antibiotic ointment to the wound.
Cover wound with another cloth, then a bandage. Change the cloth and bandage daily. If wound becomes infected, (if it's red, tender, and swollen) find medical attention.
When the bleeding stops, let go of the pressure point, then add a new dressing on the old one. People with puncture wounds need a tetanus booster, or a tetanus shot.
