ISOLATIONISM

  • When 1 country stays out of war and trading with other countries

LEND - LEASE ACT

  • Proposed in late 1940 and passed in March 1941, the Lend-Lease Act was the principal means for providing U.S. military aid to foreign nations during World War II.

INVASION OF MANCHURIA

  • September 19, 1931, when the Kwantung Army of the Empire of Japan invaded Manchuria immediately following the Mukden Incident. The Japanese established a puppet state called Manchukuo, and their occupation lasted until the end of World War II.

INVASION OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA

  • began with the Nazi annexation of Czechoslovakia's northern and western border regions, known collectively as the Sudetenland, under terms outlined by the Munich Agreement.

INVASION OF POLAND

  • marked the beginning of World War II in Europe. The German invasion began on 1 September 1939, one week after the signing of the it ended with Germany and Soviet Union splitting Poland
