Peace of Paris

• The Peace of Paris ended WWI  
• This made Germany pay over 6 million for damages from WWI  
• This caused Hitler to come to power

The League of Nations failed to stop Hitler from taking territory from Czechoslovakia

Aggression was another cause of starting the war. Germany, Italy, and Japan were aggressive so they took over countries like Albany, Ethiopia, and Poland.

nationalism is an extreme form of patriotism. The axis powers loved their countries and they wanted their country to be the greatest

Franco was a strong fascist nationalist in the government of Spain. Italy and Japan were aiding Spain.

After WWI everyone in the world was in a depression because all the money they have spent on the military supplies. this was a problem between fascism and communism.

Hitler, Mussolini, and Hirohito were dictators from Germany, Italy, and Japan. These countries took advantage of the economic distress from the other countries.

american involvment

America got involved when Japan Bomb Pearl Harbor. They bombed this Pearl Harbor because America stopped supplying them with resources

Atomic Bomb

the Atomic bomb was used to end one side of WWII. this bomb was used on Hiroshima and after the explosion the Japanese surrendered.

pros and cons

• the Atomic bomb killed over 6 million Japanese citizens 
• Japan suffered radiation after the bombing
• prevented Japan from attacking America 

Native americans

the Navajo Indians were the code talkers in the war. When Japan bombed Pearl Harbor it "awakened" the warrior spirit inside them.

After the war there were many things that happened. The Baby Boom is when the birth rate in america went up

America had become a super power and women had more opportunities for jobs and education.
