Holocaust: a great or complete devastation or destruction, especially by fire

Kristallnacht: November 9, 1938, almost 200 synagogues were destroyed, over 8,000 Jewish shops were sacked and looted, and tens of thousands of Jews were removed to concentration camps

Concentration Camps: a place where large numbers of people, especially political prisoners or members of persecuted minorities, are deliberately imprisoned in a relatively small area with inadequate facilities, sometimes to provide forced labor or to await mass execution

Nazi: a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party
