The periodic table is arranged in columns called 'Groups' and rows called 'Periods'. In the BackGround, you can see a green line around the first Group of elements. Why have I made it, or what's it's purpose???

The elements in each group have the same no. of valence electrons...
In case of Lithium, the configuration is 2,1. For Sodium, it's 2,8,1.
Similarly, for Potassium, it's 2,8,8,1. And it applies to all
Other groups as well.
