THE AFTERLIFE

The Christian Belief

• Christians believe that life is linear
• You have one soul
• Once you die, you are judged by God
• God chooses if you go to Heaven and hell
• Follow in the footsteps of jesus, follow the ten commandements etc.

HINDUISM'S BELIEFS

• Hindus believe that life is cyclical
• The cycle of being reborn is called Samsara
• They aim to reach Moksha, the liberation from that cycle
• In order to get there they commonly do yoga, three different kinds
• Many other daily devotions and Public worships

KARMA VS. SIN

• Hindus believe in Karma
• Karma is going against yourself rather than God
• Christians believe in Sin
• Sin goes directly against God

Christian Salvation

• Sin is against God, so God chooses your salvation
• Heaven is Gods abode, but will share to those who worship him
• If you lived a life close to God you will go to heaven
• If rejected, You go to Hell, the land of the damned souls

HINDUISM'S SALVATION

• Karma is going against yourself
• You can choose to have Good Karma or Bad karma
• Good Karma brings you closer to Moksha
• Bad Karma can result in being reborn into a lower life
