  • Established: March 1,1872
  • Size:2,221,766 acres

  • Yellowstone is the 1st national park in the world since 1872
  • It's surroundings are mountains, rivers, grasslands,volcanos, and cannons
  • Most of the park is a volcano that erupted half a million years ago and may erupt in the near future

  • There is a cannon 20 miles long
  • There are also 17 rivers
