on Modern Times

Gutenberg's Printing Press influenced modern times by increasing book production

Before the printing press was created, every book had to be made by hand

"Printing and finishing 180 bibles, using 6 presses, each producing 16 pages an hour, took 3 years or about the same time it took to make 1 hand copied bible."

"Printing became an inducement for learning to read and vastly increased the amount of information available."

Printing became a fundamental component of civilization. Information Transfer, Education, movements in science, Religion, Economics, Culture and Politics.
