1492
Christopher Columbus searched for a route to India. He thought traveling west would take him to India, but that was a mistake. He step foot in the island of the Bahamas and thought it was India. He found Native Americans on the island and thought they were Indians. He later killed the Native Americans by disease or even they were murdered.

1539
Hernando Disodo sailed across the sea and discovered Florida. He also killed the Native Americans. Also at this time, Coronadora lead an army in search of riches and killed Native Americans in search of it. Native Americans population was strongly diminishing due to English diseases and murder.

1607
The first successful English colony was made in Jamestown. This is now known as Virginia today. Now, English colonies were beginning to spread. These colonies were controlled by English ruler, giving the people of the colonies no freedom.
1620
Colony was made in Plymouth Massachusetts.

1636
The Pequot War began. This is the first war fought against Indians with the English. Natives weapons were bows and arrows which were against guns and bullets of the English. The English won forcing Native Americans to sign a treaty.

1830
United States congress passed the Indian removal act. This forced Indians to move west near Colorado. The English believed that moving Indians west would benefit the Indians. Instead, it caused a trouble in survival due to the new area.

1852
The United States met with tribes to sign more treaties. Indians were beginning to argue with the English as tribes diminished. Now Natives were put in an area were they could not farm, making survival almost impossible with no food. This led to the Minnesota Massacre.

1864
US soldiers killed more Indians in Sound Creek. They killed innocent woman and children of the Indian tribes. This caused major argument against the English. They disapproved the killing and thought that was wrong, yet did nothing.

1874
Gold seekers went to the Black Hills to find riches. This was against Indians rule because it was a part of their land which English men were not allowed on. But this didn't stop the English from searching for gold. Later after arguments, the Battle of Little Bighorn began. The natives won the battle.

1880
Indians would dance and believe that the spirits of their ancestors would be with them. They called this the Ghost Dance. Although, English men thought this dance was a war dance and were getting ready to attack. This caused the Wounded Knee massacre. This massacre caused many Indians to die, killing most if them, ending the war with Indians and the English.
